In an effort to develop the best management plan for you, work actively with your healthcare professionals. If the initial plan doesn’t work, notify your doctor to find a different strategy that fits your needs. Be honest about your goals and report your results.
Be sure your doctor is listening to you. Never be afraid to ask questions. You have to understand what you’re experiencing and if there are any changes in your condition. If you don’t understand something, ask him or her to repeat it or explain it in a different way.
